New Family Orientation and Teacher Training — Program Description Welcome to the New Family Orientation and Teacher Training at Hope Christian School! This is a guided introduction designed to help families and teachers start the year with clarity, confidence, and a shared commitment to our Christ-centered mission. This training will walk parents through what to expect at Hope Christian School, including communication channels, schedules and key dates, academic expectations, student support, and how to get involved in our community. Families will also learn where to find important resources and who to contact for help throughout the year. We wrote this training with the intention of giving you the tools and guidance needed to succeed and thrive in your first year of homeschooling with HCS. You will find information on procedures, curriculum planning, student engagement, safety and reporting expectations, and policies that support a positive learning environment. Training also reinforces our values-driven approach to teaching and partnering with families. By the end of this program, you will understand the systems, expectations, and support available at HCS, so you can begin the school year aligned, prepared, and encouraged. We encourage you to take notes and then reach out to us or your New Family Advisor with any questions you may have.
